Edit Decison List and Logging sheet

Editing Decision List: This is when we decided what shots to use, therefore, the next step was to put them in order. We had to indicate any transitions and effects which should be used in the editing process

Logging Sheet: This is when we had to list all of the footage on the tapes in order which it appears even if we didn't use it for final production.

Interviewing Demi (upcoming tattoo artist)

Our interview with Demi was a success. We asked her a variety of questions about her tattoos, hobbies etc and we were happy with the answers she gave us. We filmed cutaways of her tattoo equipment and she explained clearly how she uses her equipment. Also, she shown us some of her tattoos and piercings and stated the meanings of them and explained how she got each piercing.

Interviewing the Tattoo Artist

During half term we went met up and went to a tattoo shop to interview a tattoo artist. However, we had to restart the interview half way through as the tattoo artist wasn't explaining his answers clearly. Once we put the interview on Premier Pro we discovered a problem that on the left hand side of the mise-en-scene was a gap. We realised to solve this we would have to edit/zoom the framing which will cause a slight problem with the quality.

Filming Our Opening Titles

Filming our opening titles was not as easy as we thought it would be. We had to get the correct size of font for it to fit in the framing of the camera. This caused a few small problems as we had to restart it numerous times to get it right. Moreover, it also took time as we had to record each letter, however, we came to the conclusion to speed it on once we edit it.

Archive Material for VOXPOPS

We went out to Liscard and used these pictures to show people and record their reactions.

However, this was not successful therefore we recorded another VOXPOP asking people questions about tattoos and piercings as a backup.
